WEE WEE!

Well, I did it. I sat on the potty and went wee wee. Mommy and Daddy jumped up and down and kept smiling. Is it THAT big a deal??? Maybe I'll try it again when I'm good and ready. New Year's Eve was fun. Mommy and Daddy and I went to Olive Garden for dinner and then when we got home, I went to sleep. When I woke up, it was a new year! Yay!!!! Maybe I'll get out of diapers this year.....we'll see. :)

I'm Talking!

So, I was rolling along in the stroller with Nana (Grandma Coco) and Mommy and I suddenly decided I wanted to say, "Don't do dat!" Mommy and Nana didn't know what I was talking about, but neither did I! I said it a couple more times that day and made them laugh. Mommy always says that to me, so I decided to say it right back to her.

I also like to hold my hands up and say, "all gone!" Well, I can't really say that yet, but I hold my hands up anyway when I finish eating. :o)

Grandma doesn't get a break!

Well, Grandma Coco decided she was going to leave me with my mommy and daddy at her house while she went to Walgreens. Hmmm....yeah right! I told her in no uncertain terms that I was going with her to the store. So, that's where I am right now. Ha! She thought she could leave me with my parents.....yeah right!!!!

M&M's

So, Mommy is in the bathroom putting makeup on and Daddy is in the bedroom getting dressed. Mommy put me in the living room all caged in with some toys. I know right where Mommy keeps the M&M's in the candy dish on the table, so I decide to be sneaky and crawl up there to get some. I used my bucket and turned it over to step up onto the couch. Then, I crawled onto the table and sat and just ate my candy!!! I'm smart! Daddy comes in and has Mommy look at me and how smart I'm being. They pick me up and fish all the M&M's out of my mouth and out of my hands. Boo! I wasn't very happy with Mommy and Daddy. But, I know how to get what I want from now on!

Sick and Pictures

Boo! I'm sick today with a really runny nose. Mommy keeps wiping it with those cold wipes and I try to swat her away, but she always wins. She hears about it though! Mommy took me to get my picture taken this week. I wore my prettiest pink dress that I got from Grandpa Alfy and smiled really pretty for the camera. I had so much fun with the lady! She was really nice. Mommy picked out the best poses and got lots of copies for everone. I hope everyone likes them a lot! I miss my grandma Coco. She went to Cancun on vacation for a week and then decided that she wanted to stay for another week! Doesn't she know she's supposed to play with me??? Oh well, I'll see her soon!

So Sleepy!

Wow, I must have been really tired this morning because I could hear Mommy washing dishes in the kitchen and I was in my cage playing with my bee, bear and tiger piano and then next thing I know, I'm waking up 2 hours later! Wow, I wonder if my mommy got any work done. She hasn't spoken to me today much since she's not feeling well and I think her voice took a vacation. Hmmmm.....I don't think I'll be too grumpy today since I took a good nap!

BATHTIME!

Mommy likes to give me a bath in the ducky tub every night. I look forward to this because it's lots of fun to play in the water with the bubbles and hear my ducky quack at me. Sometimes I quack back. Mommy decided that she wanted me to run around naked with my little bum hanging out before she put me in the tub. Daddy thought this was really funny and laughed at me and tried to pinch my bum. I ran away from him and Mommy scooped me up and we did the splash down into the water. After, Mommy tried taking a picture of me and my naked bum so she could have it for later or something. I wasn't very happy about this and wanted to just get my milk and go to sleep. Grumpy Munchkin has spoken!!!! hee hee.

Hmmmm.....I'm beginning to figure it out

I think I know why Mommy and Daddy call me Grumpy Munchkin. I went to sleep super early last night. I was just plain pooped from all the running around at Grandma Mary's house during the day! But............I woke back up just a little while later cuz I wanted to play and wrestle with Daddy! I got my way, as usual, and Daddy came and picked me up out of my cage they keep putting me in. Mommy tried to give me more milk to make me sleepy, but I said, "Hey! I'm not sleepy! I want to play with Daddy! I don't want to go back in my cage!" But, I think it came out like I was screaming.......hmmm......I guess I sounded a little grumpy. Sorry Mommy and Daddy! I'll be a good girl from now on! Finally, the Sandman came and got me and I wound up back in my cage fast asleep..........

GRANDMA'S HOUSE

So, Mommy and Daddy took me over to Grandma Mary's house today. They all watched something kinda boring on TV, but I got to run around and play with all kinds of cool stuff! Mommy kept shutting the door on me so I couldn't escape, but that's okay cuz there was lots to do in that room with Mommy and Daddy and Grandma. I found some videos on a bookshelf and had fun with that. Grandma tried to play peek-a-boo with me, but it got old after awhile and I wanted to play with Daddy's silver phone. Mommy tried to make me go to sleep, but because I'm a grumpy munchkin, I said, "Hey! You can't put me to sleep right now! I'm not done playing with everything that Grandma has here!" I think I ended up losing that battle, cuz I ended up in some sort of cage with Tweety Bird staring at me. I think I was there for a while and when Mommy came and got me, I was standing up saying, "Hey! Here I am. Come pick me up and take me in the room with Grandma and Daddy." Daddy was asleep, though and he didn't wake up for a loooooooooong time. Oh, well! I had fun playing with Mommy and Grandma!

DADDY

Daddy likes to take me on trips to the store and to Grandma Coco's house. I get a little grumpy when he tries to make me go back home cuz I don't like my car seat. They keep putting me in it and I can't sit up or move around! It's not so much fun. But, if I'm super tired, I fall asleep in my seat in the car. But I wake up when I know Mommy is around cuz I love my milk!!!! I get a little cranky when I don't get it for a while. Doesn't Mommy know that I want to drink my milk?? I try to talk to her, but I think it doesn't come out very clear. So, I just cry and give my little fat lip, which seems to work and I get what I want. Daddy likes to play a new game with me. He pretends that he's gonna get me and he watches me run from couch to couch until I fall. I try to run a little too fast, lose my balance and then topple over. Silly Daddy! Doesn't he know that I'm new at this whole walking thing? It's fun, though, and I do lots of giggles for him!

WALKING

Well, I've been getting around quite nicely lately. Mommy and Daddy have made sure that I get to practice my walks all around my little house. I especially like sneaking up on Mommy after I've escaped my cage that Mommy keeps putting me in. Yesterday, I decided to surprise her by running into the room while she was trying to work on that weird TV thing in my bedroom, making all kinds of weird sounds with her fingers on some sort of flat black thing. I think there's numbers and letters on it. Not sure what that's for. She then proceeded to stick me back in my cage, but I love my mommy so much that I decided to do another escape five minutes later and come visit her again. It worked, because then she grabbed me up and tossed me on the bed and assaulted me with kisses. Yay!

Daddy came home and I did my little walks all the way to him. Daddy lets me have whatever I want. Yep, I have him wrapped right around my cute little finger. :o)
